I have an HP Pavilion g6 laptop. It has a Radeon HD 7670M and an intergrated Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 video card. The latter being intergrated is less powerful than the dedicated Radeon graphic card. My problem is that when I play AC3, NFS, SC2 and pretty much any game that requires high performance, the game uses the Intel processor which gives low frame rates and sometimes less than average performance. I can't seem to get games to play on the Radeon video card even though I used Configure switchable graphics option and set the games on high performance setting on the catalyst control center. Help would be appreciated.

Would also like help too. Run a Pavilion dv7 with some slightly different alterations but would probably also benefit from the answer to the OP's question.

Did that so long ago. Had to use backup because the laptop went crazy. Updated the HP driver and installed AMD Mobility Radeon Driver Verification Tool. The laptop kept bugging.

Do it(BIOS) to the latest one available. Set CCC to application preference, not controlled by hardware.
