Favourite friendships?

More on this later, but I wanted to maybe get the ball rolling.

Outside of the main five/six, we see a lot of friendship dynamics in CL. Does anyone else notice them or have any particular favourites? I love Milly and Tamiya, but I also love the contrast in characters between Nicholas and Hervé, they complement each other well.

I also imagine there to be tons of interpersonal politics amongst the faculty of Kadic Academy.

It's not so much a friendship, per se, but Sissi's dynamics with everyone tend to interest me.

I have to say, Hiroki and Johnny's friendship is pretty cute. Not sure why I enjoy it so much, but I do.

This is actually a friendship within the main six, but I absolutely love Ulrich and Aelita's friendship. There's a quietness about them that I really love, and they would help each other heal over what Lyoko has done to them, how Lyoko has affected them. On the other hand, I don't see it as a friendship just based on therapy and healing? (which, I'm not actually a fan of friendships like those, lmao) I could see Aelita getting smiles and laughs out of Ulrich, and Ulrich teaching Aelita how to play soccer. Their problem dynamics would most likely be Aelita's patience wearing off, Ulrich being unknowingly too blunt or covering up his feelings. Aelita would also want to explore, while Ulrich might want to stay back.

Also in the main group but...what about Aelita's friendship with William? I think that's coming into focus now in "Evolution" pretty well. Aelita has always been sympathetic to William after he was rescued from XANA (she even told the others in the group that it wasn't fair to treat him like their enemy).

I have always seen Aelita and William as the kind of friends that would go to one another when they were having a hard time. Though they don't have the same experiences, they do have some similar ones that no one in the group would understand. Aelita lost her father, William lost his freedom. XANA took something from both of them. I can see them having little discussions with one another, helping each other out.

Of course, this is more head-canon than anything, but I think it makes the dynamic between them in the show more logical.

This one is probably my favorite as well. Although, Ulrich does get annoyed with him sometimes.
