Ogame

Alright, so I found a cool game, called Ogame, and I think it's awesome. You build up a planet, fleet, empire, then you go and play with friends and fight other people. I'm already on it, along with a few other friends. My player name is Rodasi-Stats. My planet names are Ahnonay, and ErCana. I am in the position 1:139:4, and 1:139:3, you will know what those numbers mean when you start the game. I am the leader of the Alliance named "The General Defence Initiative" The alliance tag beside my name in the Galaxy view, is GDI. I hope to see you all there. I play Eve Online and no they are entirely different beasts. Ogame puts you in the role of a manager where you need to upgrade facilities and ration resources with combat in it.

Eve Online puts you in the pilot seat instead. There's managerial aspects to it as well but ultimately Ogame plays a lot more like a 4x game than it does Eve Online.

I know EVE but never played it. Is it still active after all these years? heard it was ridiculously addicting.

Ridiculously addicting to the point where your family might sit you down for an intervention.

It's been going on 10 years and counting and is still getting updates and such. I'm perfectly willing to hand out 21 day trials to anyone interested.

Anyway about Ogame. I think the game starts off really slow and then really ramps it up all of a sudden when your infrastructure really starts to kick in. It's also fairly attention-less where you hardly need to spend a lot of time one it so I think phone users especially can get some mileage out of Ogame.
