Communication

A lot of communication will be done via this forum, but for some, more private, things, we will be using a combination of chatzy and YIM (Yahoo instant messenger). I don't think it stricty applies to yahoo email addresses, I'm pretty sure it works if you have Windows live or even a gmail address, but if not, making a yahoo account is free, and downloading the messenger is pretty safe (if you even need to download the messenger, I've heard you can do it online but don't quote me on that).

So if each of you could post either your name or an email address with readily available contact, that'd be great. Also, post your time zones.

I'll PM it to all of you...but to be compltly honst, I don't chck it much (it isn't my prmry e-mal accnt), so you might want to PM me to tell me to chck it if I don't reply withn a few days...

Just dropping into say that I'm sorry I haven't been the quickest replier on some of these. I'll be posting more detailed thoughts and my breakdowns of all categories this weekend.

I propose a live chat of sorts at some point if we can though. Maybe it might make things easier/get some animated discussion? Idk, it might be nice to chat about it in real time but if no one feels the need to, no bother.

I think that's a good idea, Jell. There are some categories that could use some further discussion (namely Romance, so far, and maybe a couple of the other categories with more choices, and of course, more dissent between us all). Plus, as far as I can see, we've all written at some point in our lives — just putting that in there, since I haven't written much as of recent, lol — and it'd be fun to analyse all the stories together. Heh.

Random question that doesn't have much to do with the topic at hand: Are we going to do write-ups for the winners? i.e. a brief synyopsis of the story at hand, what we liked about it, why it won, things like that. I've seen those done on some awards sites, but they're definitely not necessary.

Also, and I forgot to say this before: I'm in the EDT time zone.
