I hope I'm not too late for the party? ;)

I saw this area was for new members to introduce themselves, so I decided to take the liberty of doing so.
The name is Ethan, I'm 20 years old, and I have to say I love Code Lyoko.   I haven't seen it for a very long
time for a good while, I only watched season one when I was younger and got out of touch with it after season
one ended, as I was around 12 or 13 at that time, which was around 2005-2006.  Please don't mind my rambling, I
recently saw this show on Netflix and have gotten back into it presently as of now.

I am surprised the show has expanded and grown so much since the last time I watched it, I only thought there was one season, not four.   And I just watched Code Lyoko Revolution, which is interesting in my opinion.   I know too many people aren't found of it at the moment, but I'd like to give it a chance.   Why the hell would someone my age like Code Lyoko you ask?   Well, I grew up watching it... When I was 13 or 14 at the time life wasn't the greatest... and CL was my muse through most of Junior High School.  I just love the idea of the show, it's concept, animation, writing, etc.   Besides Yumi is pretty sexy.



Too discuss more about myself I am an average 20 year old guy.   I'm a community college student that studies computer science and hopes to get into the gaming industry one day.   I have a certification in Web Design, Oracle Database Design, and the Java/C++ Programming Language, but right now I work a job as a dishwasher (The economy is wonderful isn't it?).   I am also into image/video editing as I have much experience with using adobe Photoshop and video editing programs.   I have a passion as well for reading and writing.   When I'm not dealing with my professional life I like partying with friends and having a good time.   

So I hope I enjoy this forum.   It looks really nice, but I don't know if it is still active or not.   I hope to get a few posts back.  Chow!

Welcome, Ethan.   I'm Snickie, one of the co-admins here.  We're running a bit slowly at the moment since it's summer and so many people are on vacation, but I do hope you enjoy yourself here and make lots of friends.

XANA's Lair is an insane asylum, in case you didn't know, and every member gets a free straitjacket.  Our poisons master and straitjacket distributor Cya6 is away for a few weeks, so I'll put yours in the mail and it should arrive within 3-5 business days. ^_^

XL has some fun stuff to do.  Like, there are the Sector Competitions, Writing Challenges (we're on the last day of XaJuWriMo, so you've come at a good time), and there will be the Arena once Atlas gets finished with that.  And the occasional chatbox party.  And some roleplays.

XL is a little bit more about the creative side of the fandom (especially fanfiction), but we do have a Code Lyoko discussion section.  Feel free to discuss stuff and I'm sure you'll get some people who are happy to respond.

Go browse around and see what you like in the site!  If writing's your game, find Tales of Lyoko or Tales From Other Worlds if you're not into ff.  You like art, then go to the CL Art and Non-CL art threads.  Just wanna chat, then wait for somebody to pop on chat and have a good one... chat, I mean.

Thanks for your kind words guys & gals.   I am surprised Code Lyoko is still so big.   One of my favorite anime's for sure, and I'm not even that big of an anime guy.    Code Lyoko just has something special about it. ;P

  Anyone happen to have links to CLE english subtitles by any chance?   I've been watching Season's 1 through 4 in my spare time on netflix, but I really haven't had the liberty to watch CLE myself.   I hear some people say it's good, others say it's bad, but I kinda want to see it for myself before I jump to conclusions.

All of them through episode 19 have good English subs on Dailymotion.  I saw episode 20 somewhere with "beta" subs.

It may be because that Code Lyoko isn't even an anime (I'm like you, not much of an anime person either, mostly because I save all my attention span for Project Runway and Modern Family). It's a French cartoon, which really shocked me when I found out. They did a good job of Americanising it, at least for an eight-year-old.

Hi there new guy, my names Jonathon, and as i'm sure you can tell, i'm a big fan of Jerlita. Oddlita's are my worst enemy (or Aelitaxanythingthat'snotJeremy) for that matter, but i think that's cuz i'm a helpless romantic and Jeremy kind of reminds me off myself, other than the lack of athletic ability. xD i'm actually pretty active, and from my character you can tell I love bows. Anyways, up until now I've been pretty much trying to join in on the Arena until I realized

at the moment at least, Atlas is working on it, and he's a cool dude. I'm sure it will be ready in no time, i'm kind of unofficially helping out, but only with advice and stuff cuz i'm no good with programming, i only know enough about computers to use one. xD but yeah, you're definitely not too late, no one will be too late until the Arena is up and running, cuz when it is, no one will stop me from dominating! > JK, it's fair game to all.
