I have a question....

Okay.... So I'm rewriting Code Belpois. And I had an idea where Jeremie shows Aelita a picture of his cousin. (Takes place in season 1.) my question is could Aelita even see Jeremie when she was still living on Lyoko? Just want to be sure... lol.

It is extremely possible that anyone (especially computer genius Jeremie Belpois) could sync a camera to encode the image of what it sees, deliver that image to an AI (e.g. Aelita), and allow that AI to understand what it is seeing. 

However, that being said, I've checked the episode you are referring to, and Jeremie has no camera set up anyone near his computer. It is impossible that she could see directly out of the screen since screens have no image capturing capabilities. When Jeremie showed Aelita his cousin's picture, she could not see it at all, for that matter, she couldn't see Jeremie either. She was likely simply being polite and not mentioning that she can only hear him. I would even go as far as to say the only reason she knew who Jeremie was after coming to the real world, was by recognizing his voice.

I had always assumed that she was able to see him, but those are some really good points. I know there are a few times when we see her in a tower with the interface open, but I don’t know if we ever see the screen from her viewpoint…

Hmm, all the times I remember her being in the tower typing either code "lyoko" or just doing real world research, I don't recall her ever having Jeremie up on the view.

Yeah, but I recall her saying stuff like "I see that" and stuff. Eh screw it. Its FF. "UNLEASH YOUR IMAGINATION" lol. I'll unleash it.

Jeremie's computer had a webcam that even he did not know about lol

I knew there was a reason why I thought she could see him, but I couldn’t think of the episode…
 
The other thing I thought of was that we know there is a camera in the lab, because Franz Hopper’s video diaries were filmed with him sitting in front of the supercomputer (where Jeremy now sits)…
