Up: My panic.
Me: It looks like The Terminus will come out late. =(
Down: The amount of hours until I go back to school.

Up: The amount of candy given out.
Me: Happy ghostmas everyone.
Down: The amount of candy in the house.

Up: The nuumber of cavities I predict with happen because of Ghostmas.
Me: Yeah, Merry Ghostmas, nonbelievers. *flings pumpkins*
Down: The amount of time left in the night.

Up: The time of night Ghostmas ends.
Me: Yeah, it was over around eight and we have too much candy left.
Down: The number of kids compared to last year.

Up: The amount of non-story emails I get.
Me: Actually, we got more people coming than last year.
Down: The number of candy in the jar.

Up: The amount of spam on my ISP provided email account.
Me: We have too much candy left.
Down: The number of leaves in the trees.

Up: The level of the annoyance bar over the week.
Me: *takes your salt instead and dumps it on my food* Potatoes and salt. Yum.
Down: Amount of candy.

Up: The number of words in my next story
Me: *shrugs* That'll kill you some day you know...
Down: The amount of salt I have.

Up: The amount of posts I have made in this forum.
Me: Yes, I suppose it would. Even if a person is a vegetarian and at 30 years of age, he or she can have a heart attack. ... and oh... *shakes empty container* ... *sigh* I owe you a salt container, don't I?
Down: The amount of water in the world.

Up: The amount of water I drank today.
Me: Actually, the amount of water on the planet doesn't go down. I think it's safe to ignore the amount of water we drop in low earth orbit as it can't actually escape the planet's gravity and therefore comes back.
Down: The amount of mass that makes up the sun.

Up: The amount of mess my red slime (that I had made in Chem. club) has made on the htable.
Me: ... then why are there more droughts and more states reporting a lower level of water than decades before?
Down: The time I have left to submit the permission slip.

Up: My curiosity on the red slime you made.
Me: Because we're using it faster than nature is recycling it. We pull water out of the normal path and move it to cities where it is used and drains into the ocean. By consuming water faster than rainfall and snow melt replenishes lakes and rivers the level goes down. Add to that altered weather patterns and increasing amounts of concrete and packed soil and underground aquifers don't get replenished.
Down: The likelyhood of finishing a story tonight.

Up: The amount of words I'm making someone type at the moment.
Me: Glue, two cups of water, and Borax (I think that's what it's called. It started with a 'b').
Down: The amount of cloth items Kiwi hasn't destroyed yet.

Up: The amount of time spent in Word.
Me: I haven't had to deal with permission slips in a while.
Down: The time left awake today.

Up: Play count of band Red on my last.fm
Me: *should study Anatomy, but prefers to spam on XL*
Down: Time till my Latin class.

Up: Play count of "I am a rock"
Me: Reasons to reply with "I can understand that."
Down: The level of charge in my nook.

Up: The number of clicks I had on a weird song that's supposed to be depressing (but isn't).
Me: Where teary, teary eyes once bright
Weary, sighs the tune
Dreary, dreary for all the night
And eerie light of the moon
Down: The number of attempted thefts on Flyboy's salt.

Up: The progress on the Mythbusters automatic arrow weapon.
Me: I don;t have any really depressing songs in my library. That said I looked up the lyrics you posted and the lyrics are depressing but the song doesn't follow the feeling. I can see how it was supposed to though.
Down: My level of interest in the driving myth on Mythbusters.

Up: Amount of time I'm staring at Fly's sig. It's addictive.
Me: Surprisingly, most of my favourite songs are the depressing or melancholic ones. Examples? Already Over and Take It All Away by Red, Rabbit In Your Headlights by UNKLE, Again and Lights by Archive, Street Spirit by Radiohead... and so on...
Down: Temperature outside.

Up: Amount of time I spend not posting. (Sorry guys!)
Me: Should be revising for Chemistry test tomorrow...
Down: Amount of time spent online. (Again, sorry guys!)

Up: The progress on the end of Code: Apocalypse.
Me: That was because it was from the Gothic Archies (Scream and Run Away was much funnier). Try "Drive Away" by Thomas Newman. The similarities between Thomas Newman and the Gothic Archies? They made music on "A Series of Unfortunate Events" (Thomas Newman's music was the only music played during the film, though).
Down: Time not spent looking at unusual music.

Up: Time spent on Youtube
Me: I tend to prefer more upbeat music.
Down: The free space on my computer at work

Up: Amount of Doctor Who I've watched.
Me: Watching one episode called Blink right this moment. Some girl just got shunted into the past.
Down: Amount of time until Monday.

Up: The number of videos I've inaderverently made Flyboy watch.
Me: Does not feel like crashing into walls at the moment.
Down: The amount of salt and wall-rebuilding materials (Bricks, drywall, motar, etc.) left in Flyboy's house.

Up: The number of shows I've missed.
Me: Thanks, because I really don;t feel like rebuilding walls at the moment.
Down: Time spent fixing smashed walls.
