I really really really want to watch the new Sherlock Holmes. Like, a ton. I think I'm in love with the first one. I don't know why, but I find it hilarious. But the smart kind of hilarious that makes it better the second time around because you get the jokes. At least, I think that's what my reaction to it was (it's been almost a year since I last saw it). But point is, I really want to see it.

I watched Breaking Dawn part 1 a few weeks ago. It was good till the last few minutes! Though there wasn't enough shirtless time with Jake. But his shirt off in the first five minutes of the movie was good. *goes and hides in a nukelar bunker*

I watched Sherlock Holmes 2 last week. It was funny Very Happy but there is one thing that makes slightly curious; I won't say anything in case of spoilers.
Last week there was a Studio Ghibli week on one of the movie channels and I watched loads of moives that I haven't seen in ages. I love Studio Ghibli movies Razz

One of my favorite movies is Fight club. To anyone who missed it, it's not what you think it is. It received mixed reviews, but I think it's worthy of anyone's watch. Whether or not you agree with the philosophy, you're gonna enjoy it.

Some of the quotes:

Tyler Durden: You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your apple! khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

*He did not actually say apple. Just in case you wonder.*

Tyler Durden: Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

Narrator: This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time.

Facts:-

Release date(s) October 15, 1999 (1999-10-15)
Starring: Brad Pitt
Edward Norton
Helena Bonham Carter

Funny thing, our movie theater just opened after it was closed for the longest time after the flood due to damage. So I saw "The Thing". It was freakin cool. I loved the old 80's one and this movie is a prequel to that one.

I don't know if they're showing this out side of Korea, but over here, everyone is talking about "MY WAY" WWII Korean Movie. Check it out. It looks awesome. The description says what its about.

There are some obvious classics and favourates of mine like Lord of the rings trilogy/The God Father trilogy/Casablanca/Dances with Wolves/The Silence of the Lambs/Titanic

Ofc Matrix/A Few Good Men/Training day/Golden Eye/The Dark knight/Inception...etc

I also liked The Bourne trilogy/Lord of War/Jurassic Park/ National Treasure/Lucky Number Slevin/The Departed/The Pursuit of Happyness/The Last Samurai/The Butterfly Effect/Gran Torino/Mystic River... god I can go on and on.

P.S: I love watching old movies and getting to appreciate them, but I try as much as I can to keep up with new ones too. Most of the time it doesn't work though. That's why I know more older movies than the ones in the past ten years.

Was a "Best Disney Movies" topic, but it seems to have been locked. Shame, because I wanted to change my choice.

I had said my favorite was Robin Hood, but after remembering this absolute gem I have to change it to the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

It's just such a different and dark Disney movie that only after re-watching it now, 10 years later, can I understand the message it has.

Just this one scene is absolutely amazingly done.

I think I have mentioned that in the Disney topic (maybe not. You all know how my memory works) but I agree. It is one of Disney's greatest works.

Eh, It's all right. Wasn't he an Inquisitor? I freakin hate... Piece of s*** religious fanatics like that from our history is why I'm Agnostic.

Of Disney I like The Fox and the Hound, Lion King 1 and 2, Atlantis, Dinosaur, The Rescuer's. And just to throw in there even though it's not EXACTLY Disney, The Secret of NIMH. I really like the Secret of NIMH, great story.

Speaking of Disney even though it's not made by Disney, Has anyone seen the Trailer for the live action Snow White and the Huntsman? I didn't like the idea, but when I saw the trailer it didn't look too bad. But then I saw who's playing Snow White. I was like "ah crap! it's that dumb chick from the Twilight Movies"
oh well, I'd still watch it.

Also,I'm real excited for the new Batman Movie, we were watching the Trailer for it my room, and saw that there's going to be another epic car chase scene... With a HEMTT! We had to rewind it... yup it was a HEMTT

We call it a 'Hemit' I've never heard anyone call it a "Dragon Wagon" like what Wikipedia says :/ But they're so fun to drive. It's going to be AWESOME!!! Cant wait.

You are so right, Rae. Those are my top three movies that I absolutely can't wait for. My friend's crazy about that Abraham Lincoln zombie slayer movie, and my teacher told me that there's gonna be some movie called Ozombie or something. It's about Osama bin Laden coming back to life as a zombie. Shocked

Ohhhh yeah. I heard about Ozombie (if that is the name of it). But like I said in General Chat thread, I have had zombie dreams so I think I'm taking a break from zombie shows (aka Walking Dead) and zombie movies.

I love superhero movies though! Soo much.

The amazng spiderman doesn't look good to me tbh. We only have the trailer, but I can see no point for it to exist and I doubt it would get a good reception.
