You're certainly making me feel old; graduating in 2011. It doesn't even seem like that long ago...but it's almost been 2 years already...what the heck!

Lmfao. xD I just can't believe I graduate in 2 months... It's crazy. It feels like only yesterday I was walking into high school on my first day of 9th grade. Jeez. Time flies.

I graduate from high school in June too! I'm working on college course work though even though I'm in high school. That's why I said college class work.

I am excited for college though nervous at the same time. I am already IN LOVE with my University though

I was supposed to take a college course, but I needed one more foreign language class. -_-

Forgive me if I'm not overly sentimental at my high school graduation. Most of my friends graduated last year and I'd like to think the tears are mostly over for me.

I get the feeling I'm not going to be doing much sleeping because of this stupid storm system and our stupid weather radio that goes off every time a pin drops in Indian River County. Our old weather radio only used to go off for things specifically in our county but my mom threw it away because one of the batteries in it corroded just a little.

I'm taking a college level English and Government class. At least I think my Government class is college level...eh, whatever. Is Advanced Placement considered college level?

Same for me, except I'm not graduating next semester. I don't feel too old...most of the time. Ha ha. My cousin keeps telling me I am though.

My uncle's dog just died from a heart attack ): She was attacked a day ago by his friends' dog whose living with him and was in pretty critical condition. It breaks my heart to hear about animals in pain, especially ones that you have known since they were puppies ),:

My doggie Charlie, that I got for my 8th birthday party passed away last May. He died of Kidney Failure. It tore me to pieces.
I'll never forget that dreadful morning.....
**wakes up**
Mom: "Dani.. We need to talk.."
Me: "Yeah ma.."
Mom: "I know this might be very hard for you... But, Charlie is in such bad condition. He's not gonna live much longer. He looks like he's suffering really bad.. He's asking you for just one favor."
Me: "What is it?"
Mom: "Dani.. I've called the vet. We're gonna do what's right for him."
Me: *Starts Crying* "You mean...?"
Mom: "Yes Dani..."
I went in to check on him. He looked at me with those eyes... Those eyes he looked at me with on the day I first held him. We took him to the vet for one last visit. When they took him back in the room, my mom wanted me to go back there and be with him. So I did.. He was up on the table. Looking at me with those eyes. I pet him and told him he was going to be okay. Then the vet came in with the injection.. My tears got worse then. Charlie licked my hand with the little strength he had left to comfort me it seemed. Then.. That's when they injected it into him, and he kept looking at me... Until his eyes finally closed, and they said his heart stopped beating.
That day was the most dreadful day in my life... :'(

Oh god, I remember when my dog, Charlie died.
On Thursday he was totally fine.
And on Friday he was totally fine. But Friday night, when we brought him upstairs, he didn't eat his dinner (which is WAY out of character for him). He went to his bed and fell asleep.
He was worse Saturday, and could hardly stand up, but we didn't assume anything, and figured we'd take him to the vet on Monday.
By Sunday, he was so bad, he was panting heavily and couldn't even propel himself up, so we rushed him to the animal hospital.
They told us it really was too late to do anything, and the best thing to do would be to put him to sleep.
God, that was a nightmare. A legitimate nightmare

My dog, Dobie, passed away last August, due to some heart issues. I wasn't home when he died, because I was out working with my mom. My brother called to tell us. I cried the entire way home, it was awful. One of the saddest days of my life! I loved him. So, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle's dog.

As much as it pains the owners to be in there with their pets, I wish I was one of those owners as well. I did not go in the day my dog I had had since I was a baby needed to be put down. I don't know if I just assumed she would pull through or what. I just remember my best friend was over because she had stayed the night. My mom, dad, and sister took her to the vet and my mom called me to tell me that they would either have to hook her up to an IV and see how long she lasts or put her to sleep. They chose to put her to sleep. That was the last morning I ever saw her, and I still beat myself up because I was not there for her. I remember I was stomping around and hitting my fist against the wall and I ran out in the garage and just screamed and cursed and just collapsed onto the floor.

That's like my sister and brother. They didn't go in with us either, and they were really upset.

That's so sad, Essy. Like I said, I wasn't there when my dog died, but I'm kinda glad I wasn't. Only because my brother found him in the backyard and I could not have handled that at all. I only got to touch the box my dad put him in before we brought him to Pet's Mart to have him cremated. (We didn't keep the ashes.) It feels weird to look in the backyard and not see him sitting at the door.

Ah! Sad stories are making me sad. No! Of course, Dobie stills lives on through my comics, stories, and username. He has been one of my biggest inspirations, especially when it comes to cartooning.

My mom didn't want to go in. She hates seeing animals die. I didn't want to go in with Charlie either... but either way, I knew I'd be sad. And I'm sure Charlie would've been more comfortable if I had been there with him. Ugh. I miss him. He's buried outside of my bedroom window. Sometimes I look outside, and all I can do is cry.. or sometimes I smile, because I know I'll see him soon.

That song did make me cry the first few times... But then I realized, you know, hey... Charlie isn't suffering anymore. He's waiting at the Rainbow Bridge to be with me. Same with your uncle's dog, Essy. He is probably waiting for you too. Lol sorry, I get a little religous and touchy when it comes to these topics.

Religion does not bother me at all, Lha. It is comforting.
