General Chat: August 2013

Paranoia acts up when you're tired.  When you're tired, your thought process doesn't work right, you jump to conclusions, you have less barriers keeping you from doing things you would never normally do.
That's why sometimes when people are up late, they act really silly and goofy, because they have very little inhibitors and they're not thinking straight.  However, this can also work negatively.
Last night I was talking with my friends, and I was planning a trip, so I started typing, and I made 8 or 9 posts on my own, just sorting my thoughts.
Someone asked 'who are you talking to?'
I flipped out on all of them, getting on their cases about things, posted several very nasty comments before logging off.  Then I left a couple half hysterical texts.
Staying up late can exacerbate preexisting issues.  At least, that how I feel.

Again, Heart, if you ever want to talk, please please send me a PM or something.  Nobody wants to go through what you're going through, especially not alone.

The height of hurricane season is September. Hurricane season officially starts on 1 June and ends on 30 November.

That, of course, doesn't mean hurricanes still can't form. Remember that year we heard about a tropical storm Zeta or something, and it existed into January after it was formed in December? There was another one, too, some years before that one.

No, it was Zeta. It was the year we went well into the Greek alphabet.

I must be making up new memories then...hate it when i do that.

Leaving out the incredible storm of 2012, its been calm in the US (for the most part) since 2005 as I remember correctly. No high category storms come to thought besides Ike. Considering that from then until now there have only been a few, I'd say the last time we dealt with a really bad hurricane season was in 2005. Both 04 and 05 were nasty years.

Before I make this joke, I have to ask....do you play Fire Emblem?

We were out of school for a total of two weeks I think.  Making all of that up amounted to giving up a few days from Christmas break, giving up a day or two from Thanksgiving break, going a few days beyond the day school was supposed to let out, giving up part of spring break, and eliminating short Wednesdays in the month of April.

Ivan didn't really hit here very hard, but the other three did.

Also, I don't play Fire Emblem.

Aww darn. I was gonna make a joke concerning Hurricane Ike, since Ike is the main character of two of the Fire Emblem games.

I sort of do, but never played the ones with Ike actually in them.

Ivan was a weird hurricane. It hit, traveled up to us where it flooded, then part of it reformed in the gulf, and flooded us again. Good thing I live on a hill. I shouldn't complain though. Right where I live is pretty safe from severe weather.

Good God, Merran....  She just had this whole 'collapse in the middle of the hall' thing.  Apparently she was super hungry and felt dizzy and nauseous.  Her metabolism is so much faster than mine, she's smaller and eats more than I do, but burns it so quickly....
She needs to eat more I guess.

Also, I'm baaaaaaack  this weekend was great but damn am I glad to be back home and able to sleep in a bed that's mine and not filled with two other people -.-

I...well...I don't even know how to put this into context xD well my friend kicked me out of our caravan on one of the nights because she was with her boyfriend so I spent the night in this caravan with these 2 other guys(who I knew) and it was just ugh -.- and then I spent the next 2 nights in a bed with my friend and her boyfriend because I had literally nowhere else top go. It sounds worse than it was I mean her boyfriend's really awesome and we get on great I just didn't particularly like the idea of sharing a bed with them, but I didn't say anything because this is the first time they've seen each other in like 2 months ^^;

Apart from the sleeping arrangements though the weekend was great

The only one of those I've actually played is Super Smash Brothers Brawl--I used to be obsessed with being Kirby on that since I thought he was so cute (and he was also the only one I could play with any decency, SO THERE'S THAT TOO, lmao).

I would only ever use kirby if I knew I was going to lose the battle, so i'd help my ally by sucking up the enemy and walking off the edge of the platform, successfully killing us both.

The winner of our school tournament used Kirby. I beat him in a match after though. I main Marth, but like to use Pit, Ike, and the Pokemon Trainer too. In Melee I used Roy. Never quite got over his loss.

Anyhow, spent the whole day at the county fair with some friends. Got the wristbands which let you have endless rides. There were some cute kittens there who need homes, but my mom /still/ won't let me have a cat..
I'm tired now. We did a lot of walking around, and being too stubborn to pay for water, we shared a bottle I filled from a mystery spicket coming out of the ground.

Feed her more veggies and meat rather than starches?
