I've felt depression before, not serious but I've felt it starting. Fortunately for me, i've always found a way to fight it off, something to be happy for, but I don't know how it feels to be seriously depressed. I really wish I could help out, that's what i do. My entire life i've just been trying to help people, and it really wrenches at me deep inside when I can't help someone. But, I don't know enough about how it feels to help you guys, i'm sorry.

I'm having some heavy depression due to some... real bad memories in my life, ones that literally scared my mind.   I can't get those and those faces outta my head and I keep having some kind of memory attack every day or so.  Just lost almost every friend I have here, due to moving, and I'm not really a huge people person, since I have trouble socializing, even though I'm a great guy to talk to.

Damn, you even had to move? I hate moving, I know how much that sucks to lose all your friends, especially since I also have trouble socializing, so this time I know how that feels.

Well, my friends moved this year.  I move every 3 years due to military re-basing, etc.  But, most of my friends either transferred or moved on their own or even graduated.  But, now, some random memory attacks start more and more often, that's what I'm really worrying about.

Is it possible these memory attacks are being are becoming more common because your friends are moving away?

No.  It's not that.  It's difficult to explain from my POV.  It's all random.  Random, yet, these memories show me the worst days I've seen.  Just don't know how to explain it.  And, a lot of those memories contribute to my depression.

I understand, well, not really, but I understand what you mean by it's all random. If you ever just need to talk to someone, about anything, just send me a PM, it doesn't even have to be about this, just anything, okay?

No problem, the people at my school all know me as the guy they can literally talk to anything about without me judging them, looking at them funny, or anything. I've had drug addicts talk to me about how much it sucks to be stuck in the hellhole of cocaine addiction, and then the next day i'll be talking to someone else about getting bullied. I've never once had anyone say that talking to me was a mistake.

It's been forever since I've dyed my hair. I miss my pink hair though. **sigh**

No lol, I dyed my hair pink last year. Had to get rid of it though because of prom and I haven't dyed my hair since until now. I did platinum blonde because my work doesn't allow any unnatural hair color. :/

For now, it's Fast Food lol. I'm going to College in January, so maybe I can go back then.

Awesome! Although, I've never heard of fast food places caring about their employee's hair color. The manager must just be a jerk. Anyways, best of luck with college, I hope January rolls around soon for yah!

I got here for the beginning of orientation on Saturday. Classes started in earnest on Thursday.

Oh god, so soon.  I hate the fall.  Sorry, Autumn.

I don't mind fall until it gets cold. Also I'm not too keen on thunderstorms but I suppose those are necessary.

Ugh, hurricane season is about to start and I live on the Eastern Seaboard. Anyways, my brother's back off to college

Really? I always heard hurricane season was September, or is that a misconception and that is just when the height of hurricane season is?

I went insane last night. I had to wait for my father's phone to finish charging, and I stayed up till past 1. I was pretty much acting like a brat and throwing a hissy fit. To myself, of course. I still have no idea what overcame me last night.

I think that all the stuff that happened recently was taking its toll on me, and I just shut down and became a child again. Wat.
